Few survive, but most often the animals endure an agonizing death. I support and defend changes in state legislations regarding animal protection, welfare, and their basic rights to life; to actively seek changes in the laws to protect the animals...NOT the abusers! Loving animals goes beyond pet ownership. It's about standing up for their rights to live and be protected from abuse and cruelty. I will defend the Voiceless Victims until I cease to exist...

I really cannot watch these videos, I have seen to many and can no longer cope. But I don't have to see to know, what is going on. As to whether I can imagine the reality of what humans do? Again, I don't have to imagine to know what the human animal is capable of doing.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, humans that eat other animals become dehumanized by suppressing the compassionate gene we are born with, that in turn makes them desensitized and indifferent to the pain and suffering of other living beings rendering them capable of the most UNIMAGINABLE torturous, cruel and evil acts towards them.
At times I think that these dehumanized beings are not from this planet as they are so far removed from any connection with other living beings, in which case I just wish they would go back to the barbaric place they came from. Personally, since I cannot relate to them then I cannot be part of them.
This is the most gut-wrenching, heart-breaking, mind-expanding video I think I have ever seen. While I do still eat meat, I have not lost my compassion for animals. I sobbed uncontrollably and shook with horror at this video. Most of what I saw I knew was going on, but I had not actually seen it being done; this really drove it home. The contrast between the companion animals and the abused animals is a great efect. Whoever made this did a great job!
