Australia's Outcry of Animal Export & Slaughter

ANIMALS AUSTRALIA- the Voice for animals

ABOUT THIS VIDEO:

Animals Australia's September 2007 investigation in the Middle East reveals yet again extreme suffering and widespread cruelty endured by Australian sheep exported live to a region with no animal welfare laws. We have spared you from the worst images so that everyone can watch this important video (no slaughter footage is shown).

In temperatures regularly above 40°C in summer, sheep are stuffed into car boots, dragged by their horns, legs and fleece, tossed off trucks before meeting horrific deaths in Middle Eastern slaughterhouses. This treatment is routine and widespread through the region.

Australia's willingness to supply animals to the Middle East has led millions of people to believe that we approve of this treatment of animals. If you don't agree with brutal handling and slaughtering animals without stunning, then join the thousands of caring Australians who oppose live export and take action to demand an end to this indefensible trade.

This kind of thing sickens and shocks me every time I see a report on it. Thank God for people like you fighting for the animals.
